We work on behalf of main contractors and consultancies within the ground investigation, oil and gas, mining and civil engineering industries. MacGeo is completely unique in how we are set up, as we are a drilling subcontractor owned and managed by a team of experienced geotechnical engineers, therefore our focus is always on delivering to the end client.

MacGeo is an ‘Award Winning’ UK drilling subcontractor that has the ability ‘in-house’ to deliver a full-scale ground investigation of considerable size on behalf of our clients, both on land and overwater.

MacGeo can deliver complex onshore and nearshore ground site investigations to a high standard underpinned by a management system controlling technical, commercial, shipping and logistics.

Our experienced team of field and office staff consists of around 20 personnel who work both in the UK and Overseas. The office based in the Northwest of the UK, is workshop and hub for all UK activities. We are corporate members of British Drilling Association, and all our Lead Drillers are BDA audited. In addition to this we are also corporate members of IJUBOA (International Jack Up Barge Operators Association).
